Gloria Rios

Senior Workers’ Compensation Paralegal

Gloria is the “veteran” and has been helping injured workers at Hoggatt Law Office, P.C. for over 15 years! She is bilingual, loves working with people, and is always willing to go the extra mile to help her clients.

Gloria was the first in her family to graduate from high school and go to college. She obtained a Secretarial Certificate from Front Range Community College and a Paralegal Certificate from Colorado State University. She spent many years as the Executive Secretary to the President of an international health products company before moving into the legal field at Hoggatt Law Office, P.C. Her favorite thing about working at Hoggatt Law Office, P.C. is being able to provide hope and peace to people going through hard times.

When she is not working for Hoggatt Law Office, P.C., Gloria enjoys spending time with her two beautiful daughters and four grandchildren. She is very involved with her church and has lead a national/international virtual prayer group for the past 6 years.

Jess Hoggatt

Marketing Director

Jess has been involved in marketing for over 20 years having owned a branded merchandise business and been lucky enough to work with the Denver Broncos, the Children's Hospital of Denver and The Group, Inc. She published a social magazine in Windsor that connected the residents, their children's activities and businesses. Jess has been director of marketing for a number of medical clinics and most recently working in the legal industry for the past 5 years at Hoggatt Injury Law. She finds purpose in her work here in seeing how we can be of service to our clients.

Jess enjoys spending time with her 3 children and stepson, practicing yoga, hiking and biking our local trails.

Cecilia Ramirez

Senior Paralegal

Cecilia brings a balance of warmth and disciplined intellect to her work at Hoggatt Law Office, P.C. She guides clients through personal injury and motor vehicle collision claims with clarity and steadiness, ensuring they feel heard while their cases are handled with deliberate strategy. She has expertise in both personal injury and workers’ compensation, strengthening her ability to navigate matters where those systems intersect.

Cecilia began working with Darby out of high school, gaining both education and hands on experience as she grew within the firm. She earned her Associate’s Degree with Phi Beta Kappa honors and continued her studies at the University of Colorado Boulder as a History pre law major, also recognized through Phi Beta Kappa. Her academic training refined her ability to analyze complex issues, craft persuasive written arguments and approach problems from multiple angles. She believes careful thinking is a form of respect, both for the law and for the people it serves.

Her experience includes work across firms representing injured plaintiffs as well as a brief period in insurance defense, giving her practical insight into how claims are evaluated from both sides. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Cecilia is bilingual and values meaningful communication across diverse communities. Clients appreciate her direct honesty and genuine compassion. Behind the scenes, she is meticulous and persistent, holding insurers accountable and preparing each file with the expectation that it may one day be tested.

Cecilia approaches every case with empathy on the surface and resolve at the core. She understands that effective advocacy requires both a steady hand and a firm spine and she brings both to work every day.
